Advantage Boating offers a variety of programs for both the novice and experienced boater alike. Adults and families can choose from any number of fun and exciting courses and services.
Cruising on the Ottawa River.Keelboat Sailing:
If you would like to learn how to sail on larger more comfortable boats then we recommend that you start with the Basic Cruising course which is part of the Learn to Cruise program.
Dinghy Sailing:
If learning to sail on smaller boats interests you and you don't mind getting a bit wet then we suggest you begin by taking a CANSail course. See the full Learn to Sail program.
Powerboating:
Become an educated boater and enrol in our hands-on powerboating course
Classroom Courses:
We offer a variety of classroom courses with some leading to certification including coastal navigation, celestial navigation, VHF radio operation, sailboat racing, and engine maintenance - outboard and diesel engines.
