Sailing Instructor Training

Have you ever thought about being able to share the joy and beauty of our sport? Do you enjoy teaching others? Then it may be time to consider becoming a Sail Canada certified instructor.

Advantage Boating, with Ontario Sailing, are pleased to host several Instructor Clinics throughout the year.

We host the following levels:

Basic Instructors Re-cert - see the new application process in the Sail Canada policy manual.

Basic Crusing Instrcutor Clinic - May 22(evening), 23 & 24; May 29(evening), 30 & 31 2015 in Ottawa.

Check out the following link to get a list of prerequisites required to become a learn-to-cruise instructor.

Course Cost: $800 + HST with the fee split into two portions:

Deposit $185 + HST paybale to Ontario Sailing - which then means you are "registered" for the clininc and you will be sent clinic materials.
Balance $615 + HST paybale to Advantage Boating due 60 days prior to the start of the clinic.
