Sail Share At Britannia Yacht Club
Britannia Yacht Club has several membership options for our Sail Share members. If you take your Basic Cruising course in the same year that you join the Sail Share program, BYC will discount the cost of your complimentary membership from the cost of your upgraded membership.

Our BYC Fleet
The Small Keelboat fleet at BYC includes two 24-foot Sharks and two 22-foot Tanzers. This boats are ideal and stable day sailor sailboats. All of our boats are equipped with spinnaker gear for those who would like to develop more advanced sailing skills. Both have strong racing fleets on Lac Deschenes for those interested in racing.
Our Big Keelboat is a C&C 27 MK III. This larger boat comes with a roller furling headsail, a wheel for steering and inboard gas engine. This boat is very comfortable and nicely equipped for cruising either for the day or upriver for the weekend or longer.
Social Calendar
BYC has a very busy year-round social schedule. From black tie functions to BBQs after racing to Friday night music evenings, there is always something to look forward to down at the club.

The AB Tanzer 22s are a welcomed addition to the BYC fleet. The boat offers comfortable cruising as well as great one-design racing for the SSP members to develop their sailing skills.
